Genetics and culture

At Naturalpes, we are uncompromising about the quality of our raw materials. The selection process therefore goes through several stages. The first is the choice of genetics. This involves identifying seeds with the best CBD/THC ratio. A low tetrahydrocannabinol content coupled with a high percentage of cannabidiol will always be preferred. We then decide on the appropriate cultivation method that will allow the plants to develop to their full potential. We also pay particular attention to the quality of the air, the properties of the water used for watering and the amount of sunlight available to the plants. Once mature, each plant is carefully harvested. The drying and grinding stage can then begin. An essential stage in the transformation of the plant into biomass. Raw 20% CBDA oil is extracted from organically-grown hemp. Its cannabinoid concentration is surprisingly high.

Raw 20% CBDA oil production method

The biomass obtained after drying and grinding is then used in a supercritical CO2 extraction process. This process guarantees the preservation of all phythocannabinoids in the parent material recovered from the extraction. Unlike other types of extraction using butane or ethanol, for example, here the solvent used is CO2, a gas naturally present in the air we breathe. So our extraction is also carried out in the cleanest, most natural way possible. The oil extracted from the machine is then cold-filtered once to separate the chlorophyll. This step removes most of the plant's fats and waxes, while preserving all the cannabinoids in acid form. Molecules such as CBDA, CBGA and THCA, as well as all the other active ingredients, are therefore present in the oil. This Raw 20% CBDA oil can be referred to as Full Spectrum. The mother paste is then diluted with hemp seed oil as a carrier to obtain the final product: a top-quality Swiss Full Spectrum CBD oil.
