Loïc VUILLEMIN

I've been a Zen Buddhist monk since 1997, I was 20 when I was ordained. I lived in a monastery for many years and didn't discover my interest in sport until I was in my late thirties, when I felt suffocated by the lack of vitality of the monks and nuns around me.
I discovered the discipline of deep-sea diving at the age of 37, when I'd been fantasizing about Luc Besson's film "The Big Blue" since childhood.

I passed the first levels of certification, saw my life change from that of an inactive monk to one filled with energy and determined to take on increasingly incredible challenges.

So I became a freediving athlete in 2018, and by 2019 I had already set two national records before my participation in the World Championships in Villefrance sur Mer. Today, in 2024, I've set 24 Swiss national records and reached a depth of 101m in single-fin constant weight, something only a hundred or so people have achieved in the history of freediving.

I use CBD as in the form of balms to massage my neck and Naturalpes oils for the areas around my ears to relax the tissues involved in compensatory manoeuvres.
Recently, cases of doping have come to light in deep apnea competitions, and when I saw the list of products that some athletes take to the detriment of their health and the spirit of the sport, I wanted to establish a partnership with Naturalpes to highlight not only their excellent quality products but also the importance of calling on nature to support sporting performance.
