This infusion is also known as Lippia citriodora-infusion and provides a particular refreshment when drunk.
It is made exclusively from lemon verbena (a variety native to South America). It is known for its mildly sedative properties. This plant also helps relieve bloating.
Preparation of the decoction is both quick and easy, as one dose (= 1 teaspoon) of the mixture requires only 5 minutes of boiling.infusion in water no hotter than 80 degrees, followed by a simple straining before serving.
